St Wilfrid’s Hospice supports people with life-limiting conditions in Eastbourne, Seaford, Pevensey, Hailsham, Uckfield, Heathfield and all points in between. Our vision is of a community where people talk openly about dying, live well until the end of their life and where nobody dies alone, afraid or in pain.

We provide nursing and medical care and therapies for patients in their own homes, in our Inpatient Unit and through our Living Well Hub. The hospice also provides bereavement support for adults and children throughout the catchment area, whether or not their family has been cared for by the hospice.

St Wilfrid’s Hospice is a charity that relies on voluntary gifts to support over 70% of our vital work. It costs over £18,000 a day to provide our care and support services across our catchment area, and patients are never charged for care.

St Michael’s Hospice supports and enables the community of Hastings and Rother to live well with dying, death and loss.

We identify what matters most to patients and families, what’s making life difficult for them, including worries and concerns. We then create a care and support plan that can be adapted when things change.

Our services are provided via in-patient beds and at home and we also offer Wellbeing support, both out-patient and virtual. Expert bereavement support is available for anyone struggling to come to terms with the death of a loved one.

We also recognise the community’s role in supporting those nearing the end of life and will play our part in building supportive neighbourhood networks via our compassionate communities work.
